Have you ever seen a person who has a very obvious artificial smile?
Maybe their teeth are too big, or too wide, or too long.
Many companies in this field create a single smile model and mass produce it for all of their patients whether it is suitable for their face or not. Their belief is that it is better than what you have currently. It’s cheaper for them to make a thousand copies of one model vs individual models per patient. We at Your Smile Choice wholeheartedly disagree with the mass production of generic smiles that forces your face into a shape that doesn’t look like you.
You deserve better than that! You deserve more than that!
This is the smile for the rest of your life. It must look natural. It must fit your face and function flawlessly whether you are smiling for a photo or eating a feast.
The very first step of the Your Smile Choice journey is an advanced smile simulation that shows your revitalized final smile. This journey begins with a simple smiling selfie. We understand that a smiling selfie may be something that you have avoided for years but after the Your Smile Choice treatment, you will embrace future selfies with eager confidence.
What will you do with my selfie?
We take your selfie and import it into our advanced smile simulation software, and start designing your new smile, tooth by tooth. We calculate the length, breadth, and position of each tooth, and how the jaws align with the central plane of your face, all with the purpose of establishing the essential blueprints of the smile we will be creating for you.
We utilize advanced dental measurement systems that ensure our design fits your face (e.g., the Shimbashi rule indicates the ideal relationship measurement between the upper and lower jaws). The smile simulation we are able to generate (once approved by you and your doctor) is essentially the smile you will get. These records follow your case as it moves through the various teams responsible for its final design, creation, and implantation.

How to take a great selfie for your smile preview
- Don’t just take a photo, take a flattering photo.
- Only take a full-face photo.
- Try to take the photo in a well-lit location.
- Create a straight line directly from the phone/camera to your face; bring in to frame the head and focus on the teeth.
- Both the phone/camera and your head should be level, with you looking directly at the phone’s camera space.
- Make sure to show a big, natural smile, not force a smile that shows as many teeth as possible.
- Teeth can be apart or together, but it’s best to take the photo with your teeth apart.
- Snap several photos and use one that is free of shadows and is not too dark or too bright.
